Some in the Harz may say: the forest is crying out.
Decades of climate impacts are becoming painfully visible. In some areas, where once lush greenery provided shady paths, bare, silvery-gray trunks now reach towards the sky. Turning a blind eye is no longer an option. It’s time to pay attention. And to act. For this, employees of the forestry, the national park, contracted companies, and volunteers are working around the clock.
